Last updated: September 10, 2026. Still Orbiting is built around a simple promise: your perspective should feel personal without asking for more information than we need.

Your birthday stays with you.

Your date of birth is used only inside your browser to calculate your journey. We do not store it, send it to our server, or associate it with your email address. Closing or refreshing the page clears your journey.

Only the emails you choose.

If you sign up for Life Nudges, we store your email, selected frequency, subscription status, signup and delivery dates, and a private unsubscribe token. This information is used only to deliver and manage Life Nudges. Subscriber records are stored in Supabase, and email delivery uses the Still Orbiting Hostinger mailbox.

A keepsake, without the details.

Stickers are generated on your device. They include your orbit count, and include your birth year only if you choose the “Travelling since my birth year” style. Your full birthday never appears. Month charts show aggregate journey counts. When you request an email, the generated PNG and your email address are sent to our server and email provider. The app does not retain the attachment; it stores your email address and send status for support and aggregate artwork-request statistics. Saving attachments in your email app is not tracked. These records are accessible only through the protected owner portal. Artwork requests subscribe you only when you check the optional Life Nudges box.

You choose when to leave.

New Life Nudges subscribers receive one automatic welcome email. When sending is unavailable, that welcome is queued until delivery is configured. Every Life Nudge and welcome email contains a personal unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future emails; your record is retained to respect that choice. The app does not add advertising trackers. Supabase, Hostinger and our hosting provider may process basic technical request data to serve, send and secure the site.

Your personalised shop orders.

The shop keeps your selected products and sticker details in this browser tab so you can return to your bag. Your full birth date is not saved. At checkout, selected designs and print PNGs are sent to our server and stored with your order. Stripe collects payment and delivery details; we retain the order, customer email and delivery address for fulfilment and support. Card details are handled by Stripe. Print artwork is stored privately for fulfilment and is available only to the shop administrator. Shop purchases do not subscribe you to Life Nudges.

Your consent.

Email and order forms may ask you to confirm that you have read this privacy policy before continuing. That tick is there to make the choice clear: we use your details only for the request you make, the Life Nudges you choose, and the orders you place.

A note on perspective.

The selected horizon is a visual reference, never a lifespan prediction. Leap-day birthdays complete a new orbit on March 1 in non-leap years. Calendar calculations use the current date on your device.
